Who are you?

As it says to the right, I’m a husband, student, and small groups guy who lives in Pasadena, CA. This blog is a place to process what I’m learning and feel God is doing as I head through life. There is real truth in this world, but I’m still in that journey of learning how to live it out.

I have a passion for the local church to be a place of power, excitement, relevance, transformation and healing. We need to approach ministry with creativity and excellence, but also authentically, with a missional stance that empowers people to go, not just to consume.

Does the world really need another blog?

Probably not. But for me this is a place to process, think, and share. I’m still learning. I learn best when I share it with others. This is one way to do that. This also means you play a part. Comment! Interact. Let me know when you disagree or agree. That’s what makes this fun.

Why “Live. Work. Play.”?

Where we live, work and play are the three main places we connect with people. It’s where life happens. I want to be someone who is present there. I want to be a part of a church committed to serving there – not separate, but in the midst of life.
